At an Iowa property, authorities discovered a heartbreaking scene: one kitten and seven dogs dead among 43 neglected animals that survived. These defenceless animals endured appalling conditions whilst living in their own waste and with insufficient ventilation.
Photographs of the rescued dogs reveal severely matted fur, obscuring their faces and indicating prolonged neglect. All surviving animals were also found to have health issues. It is clear that none of the dogs or cats should have been subjected to such dreadful living conditions or neglect.
Authorities suspect that these animals were victims of an illegal puppy farming operation.
No animal should have to endure living in filth, lack basic veterinary care, or be deprived of essential love and attention.
