Imagine the unimaginable: helpless cats tortured in the most horrific ways, their agonising screams captured on video for the twisted entertainment of others. In China, this nightmare is a reality.
Innocent cats are being force-fed acid, burned alive, thrown from great heights, and doused in boiling water, all for videos shared online. Earlier this year, a man in China reportedly boasted about butchering several cats, planning to adopt more just to live-stream their brutal deaths. He was allegedly part of a disturbing group that used social media to exchange tips on torturing cats for fun.
These heinous acts don't just shock the conscience—they demand action. Tragically, this is not an isolated incident. Recently, 80 stray cats were reportedly skinned, gutted, burned, and electrocuted alive on video by a university student in Shandong province, who then sold the gruesome footage online. This level of cruelty is beyond comprehension, yet it continues unabated.
We cannot remain silent while such brutality occurs. This petition is a call to action—demand that Chinese authorities put an end to the torture and killing of cats for online views. No innocent animal should suffer for entertainment. We must unite our voices to protect these innocent animals and ensure those responsible for such cruelty face justice.
Please sign this petition to stand against the horrifying abuse of cats in China. Your signature can help save lives and put pressure on authorities to act. These cats have no voice, but we do. Let’s make sure we are heard.
