Demand Justice for 32 Rescued Dogs

At Animal Welfare Investigations Project, our mission is to investigate animal cruelty and rescue animals globally. We also campaign to get justice for abused animals.

Dog fighting across the globe has seen an increase, and law enforcement efforts are proactive but struggling to keep up. This is a grave issue that demands immediate attention and action.

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, at approximately 8:00 pm, The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) executed a search warrant at 13020 Williams Avenue in Axis, Alabama. They received information about possible dog fighting at the address.

MCSO Deputies arrested 29 people, rescued 32 dogs, and seized 11 guns, drugs, and a large amount of USD currency. However, the main suspect, believed to have set up the dog fighting ring, fled the scene and is still at large

We demand that the prosecuting authorities prosecute rigorously once the investigation is completed, should it reveal dog fighting activities. These 32 dogs deserve justice, and those responsible for their suffering must be held accountable.

Your signature will help us ensure that the authorities do not let this crime go unpunished. By signing this petition, you will be making a stand against animal cruelty and supporting our efforts to bring perpetrators to justice.
